1. What wire types will it strip?
QuikStrip is designed to strip wires from 12 to 24 gauges. Lamp cords, telephone cable, CAT5 cable, speaker wire, Romex 14 gauge, etc.

2. What wires will it not strip?
QuikStrip is designed to strip nearly every wire type. However, QuikStrip’s advance design prevents it from stripping Teflon coated or wires larger than 12 gauge.

3. Does QuikStrip have a built-in wire cutter?
Yes. QuikStrip is a 2-in-1 tool - a wire stripper and wire cutter.

4. How can I keep the wire I am stripping from slipping?
SQUEEZING QUIKSTRIP TOO SLOWLY MAY NOT STRIP THE WIRE PROPERLY. If the wire slips through the stripping jaws, simply BEND THE WIRE down and under the lower QuikStrip jaw before you strip it. Hold, BUT DO NOT PULL on the wire stripping. If the insulation doesn’t come completely off the wire during the stripping, pull it off by hand.

5. Does QuikStrip require maintenance?
No. QuikStrip is designed for a lifetime of use, with no maintenance required
